## Local notes

Chandragiri Municipality covers the western rim of Kathmandu Valley, from Thankot and Dahachowk on the hills to Naikap, Balambu and Tinthana near Kalanki. It mixes older village settlements with fast-growing new housing along the Prithvi Highway and ring-road side.

**Good to know:** Technicians are sent from Chandragiri itself, so they know the local roads and tole names. For hillside homes around Dahachowk and Baad Bhanjyang, a nearby landmark helps them find you quickly.

## Frequently asked questions

### How quickly can a plumber arrive at my house?

After you submit your job or call, a Najik coordinator contacts you within 15–30 minutes to confirm your location and problem. We then connect you with a verified plumber from your neighbourhood who can typically arrive within 1 to 2 hours.

### Do I need to buy the replacement parts myself?

You can provide your own fittings (taps, pipes, valves), or ask the attending plumber to procure them from a nearby hardware store and provide the store receipt for reimbursement.

### Do you offer emergency plumbing on Saturdays and holidays?

Yes. Burst pipes and flooded bathrooms happen anytime. Najik operates 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day of the week, including Saturdays and public holidays across Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu.
