Carpentry — Frequently asked questions
Can a carpenter fix doors that get stuck during the monsoon?
Yes. Kathmandu high monsoon humidity causes solid wood and flush doors to swell and scrape door frames. A local carpenter planers the edges and adjusts hinges so the door latches effortlessly.
Do you take custom furniture repair or only new making?
We handle both. Our carpenters repair broken sofa frames, dining chairs, wardrobes, and kitchen cabinets, as well as building customized shelves, TV units, and partitions.
